Hi,
Thanks for taking an interest in my work. I'm Steve Kearslake, a self- taught artist based in Ballina, County Mayo, Ireland. My medium is composites (GRP, pressure cast resins) and always in at least three dimensions.

Don't waste precious time being miserable. As we spiral into a sun-baked dystopia, have a laugh! Economic collapse, global warming and the failure of the antibiotic safety net. Throw a party! AI will have all our jobs then nuke the planet. Remember, a zombie apocalypse could be just around the corner. Doesn't that cheer you up?

Strangely, considering the kitsch nature of my work, all pieces are created in strictly limited numbers*. So, buy today, better still, yesterday. Leave it too long, I could get hit by a bus. Then you'd be fucked.
Please feel free to browse the gallery and check out my YouTube channel.
All the best,
Steve
*Strictly limited to the number I can actually sell

The hyper violence of Tom and Jerry, Road Runner and the Charlie Says public info shorts, greatly influenced me as a small child. Sitting under my granny's kitchen table, pretending I was in an atomic fall-out shelter for hours on end, or at least until the ginger beer and Jammy Dodgers ran out.
Today, my belief, that we are all fucking doomed, inspires me the most.

My goal in life is for everyone to have something fun and colourful hanging on the wall. Something that gives them escape from this miserable existence, if only for a couple of minutes a day. In those final moments, you know, just before that rogue asteroid impacts the Earth. You don't want to regret not owning such a thing, do you?
